It’s the Year of the Ox!  January 26 is the first day of the new year in the Chinese calendar, and to celebrate we’re having a special event on Saturday, January 24.  Starting at 5 pm, lots of fun is scheduled, including:

  • free calligraphy by local artist Lim Chung  (have your name written in beautiful Chinese script, or request a fortuitous saying to bless your home or business)
  • Lion Dance by a local martial arts troupe
  • a dinner special (see below)
  • and, late into the evening, a special Demitasse Swing Dance in honor of the new year!

Festivities start at 5 pm.  Free valet parking to all Saute customers.

Chinese New Years Dinner

This year’s Chinese New Years Dinner features delicious Peking Duck!  Our “good fortune” dinner includes fresh potstickers (steamed dumplings then pan fried), Avocado Egg Rolls, Peking Duck with ride noodles, fried rice and snow pea greens, and a new years cake.  This set dinner is just $21 - call 713.522.2106 for reservations.  And, of course, enjoy the rest of the festivities along with your meal!
