Finding a fortuitous date on the Chinese calendar is always a challenge, but we’ve finally set a time for the Grand Opening celebration of Sauté that fits our schedule as well as lands on a “good fortune” date - Saturday, December 13!  The fun begins at 6pm with our “Meet the Artist” Event.  Valentene Rice is a talented local artist who is currently showing his work both at Te’ House of Tea and Saute’.  Stay for some special treats, including a very special evening of “East Song, West Wind” - singing performances from American singers doing Asian classical songs!  Houston has a lot of local talent, and we have been amazed to run into some folks that sing excellent Chinese or Japanese, even though they don’t know a lick of the language!  Do you think you can sing an Asian song?  Then sign up for the challenge too - prizes for the winners, including tickets to annual Houston Revels show!  (sign below, or call 713.522.2106).
